Sharing the magic of crafting together.
Social crafting events, such as scrapbooking and collage circles, have endured for decades. Having a longstanding interest in scrapbooking and collage myself, I dedicated my thesis project to exploring what draws people to them and their impact on social well-being.
Research question
Research findings were captured 1) in a publication and 2) a proposed participatory exhibition offering an inviting, low-pressure environment to engage with social mixed media crafting.
